The mission of Springfield Platteview Community Schools is to ensure that all students acquire the 21st century skills and behaviors necessary for each student to succeed now and into his/her future.

Springfield elementary at a Glance
Springfield Elementary School (PreK-6) offers a nurturing and engaging environment where young learners are guided by a dedicated team of experienced educators. As a 1:1 iPad district, every student has access to their own device, allowing them to explore, communicate, and express their ideas using technology. With a strong focus on fostering curiosity, individual growth, and community involvement, Springfield Elementary is committed to creating an inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
We pride ourselves on providing small class sizes, a variety of extra and co-curricular activities, and an active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Every child is paired with a dedicated adult advocate, and our HOUSE System promotes teamwork, leadership, and positive relationships. At Springfield Elementary, we ensure that students have the tools and support they need for academic success and personal development.
